Vanguard University is one of the top Christian fine arts universities in the world, with nationally-known music programs and alums who work in the highest levels of the entertainment industry. The Vanguard concert choir performs regularly in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York.
The music faculty have advanced degrees from Juilliard, Yale and the New England Conservatory of Music, and bring experience from the highest levels of performance. Most are working musicians who lend their talents to film soundtracks, television shows, jazz studio sessions, with performers such as Andrea Bocelli, Dave Koz and Barry Manilow, and in live performances at the Hollywood Bowl and Disney Concert Hall.
Held in two prominent locations in Orange County – Segerstrom Hall and St.Andrews Presbyterian Church, Fantasia will attract an audience of approximately 4,100 senior business leaders, music aficionados, community leaders and those who enjoy the finer things in life.

2013 Women in Business Awards Luncheon
Vanguard University successfully nominated eight finalists for this year’s Orange County Business Journal Women in Business Awards. Nominees included successful alumni entrepreneurs Olivia Klaus, Quiet Little Place Productions, Bethany Herms, Pink Laundry, and Kallie Dovel, 31 Bits, as well as leaders in philanthropic businesses including alums Nicole Suydam, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Trina Fleming, Women Helping Women. Also representing, from the accounting sector, alumna Marsha Caradonna, Ronald Blue & Co., and from higher education, Sandra Morgan and Mary Wickman, Vanguard University.
