DESCRIPTION:May 2025 \n\n\n\nFor this this study abroad intensive\, the Global Center for Women and Justice (GCWJ) will lead a team to study development of a strong holistic AntiTrafficking NGO\, FIET\, in Madrid Spain. The study abroad intensive will encompass on-the-ground engagement in all 5 P’s of the GCWJ’s model to combat human trafficking: Prevention\, Protection\, Prosecution\, Partnership\, and Policy. Students on this trip will participate in engagement with government\, law enforcement\, outreach and identification of victims\, aftercare\, and identifying promising practices. GCWJ and students will collaborate with our NGO partners in Madrid to hold an Ensure Justice\, Spain Conference focused on developing community awareness and engagement.
