It was good to have you home!
There’s something truly special about being back on campus—the familiar walkways, the faces you haven’t seen in years, the stories that pick up right where they left off. Alumni Day ’26 was a beautiful reminder of all of it!
As chapel began and our students lead us in worship, it was thrilling to see God still being praised at the center of our campus. Cody, one of our campus pastors, shared a meaningful word about God’s faithfulness and encouraged us to remember the places where God has met us, and reminded us to watch for the ways He is working today. I’m sure you were moved by the good news President Beals shared about the ways our beloved university is on the rise!
Seeing so many of you return to the place where friendships were forged, faith was deepened, and futures took shape filled our hearts with more gratitude than we can easily put into words. This VU community is something rare, and days like these remind us why.
If you left campus with that familiar warmth in your chest, we’d love for you to help keep it alive for the next generation. A gift of any size to the Vanguard University Fund helps today’s students experience the same Christ-centered education that shaped us. Give online with the form below.
Thank you for coming home. Thank you for being part of this story, one that keeps getting richer with every passing year.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Heather (Rachels ’02) Clements
Director of Alumni
