When Imagine: The Campaign for Vanguard University launched in 2019, we had no idea how the Lord would bless Vanguard.
Looking back on His provision and the generosity of the VU community, we are simply astonished. Paul’s blessing to the Ephesians 2,000 years ago is our encouragement today: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (2:20-21)
As of January 2023, we have raised $15.7. The goal of raising $18.8 million is within reach. We are praying for 500 dedicated, generous donors to help conclude this phase of Imagine.

Honoring Coach Russ Davis
As a college basketball coach, Russ Davis has hall of fame pedigree. The Vanguard Athletics legend, however, is also renowned in regard to the life change and transformation experienced by hundreds of athletes, on and off the court. Join us in naming a portion of the Freed Center for Leadership and Service in honor of Coach Davis.

About the Imagine Campaign
Milestone I: COMPLETED
Vanguard exceeded the $12.9 million campaign goal by raising over $13 million for construction of the Waugh Student Center (completed in 2020) and growth of the University endowment.

Jan. 5, 2022: Vanguard University announces the Freed Center for Leadership and Service, the centerpiece of the second milestone of Imagine: the Campaign for Vanguard University, a $18.8 million campaign.
December 2020: Vanguard has exceeded the $12.9 million Milestone I campaign goal by raising over $13 million for construction of the Waugh Student Center (completed in 2020) and growth of the University endowment.
February 2019: Vanguard’s 30-year campus master plan has been approved by the City of Costa Mesa. Including a dozen projects, the master plan establishes a long-term vision for the 40-acre campus that will enhance the VU experience.
For more than a century, Vanguard has had a singular focus on preparing women and men to fulfill God’s call upon their lives. As a university, we build into people’s lives, and the Imagine campaign is a way to invest in our students today and for years to come.
